First attempt at the Placeling UI

I built my first tumblr theme!
One of my favourite new clients these days, Ecquire, is really challenging me. They’re getting me to do a lot of things that are a bit out side of my comfort zone (ie. *not* cute illustrations) and it’s just piles of fun. Really cool learning experience. Anyway, the first thing that they got me to do is build a tumblr theme. Have a look!

After many many sketches, I’ve started the Placeling splash page! This is just the first of many buildings to fill the screen.

Placeling Logo Development
As you may have noticed, one project that I am really excited to be a part of lately, is Placeling. They’re an iphone application for bookmarking locations, essentially reddit meets foursquare. No check-ins, just tours, with a one-sided friendship, such that you can take a virtual tour with a best friend, or your favourite VIP. Very cool.

It's a sad sad day today.
Ralph was the very very best dog & the very very best friend. You won’t find a better listener, or a better cheer-er up-er. I don’t think home can feel like home without Ralph (it’s definitely not going to smell like home without Ralph).
Have a drink to Ralph today - or maybe some jerky, he wasn’t a big drinker.
